We really love dealing with Sara and the crew at Sweet Pea. Peace of mind is so important when leaving our best fur friends with someone and Sara has clearly demonstrated how much she cares. Our dogs love her. So much so that the know the sound of her vehicle and are heart broken when it turns out she is here to walk the neighbour's dog. You wont find a more professional, compassionate and skilled companion for your pets.

We have been using Sweet Pea and Me for beach walks for almost a year now. Our dog Maggie loves Sara, and is always super excited to see her. Sara is very conscientious and always lets us know if she is running late and reminds us about her vacation schedule. She also works hard to make sure Maggie is clean and dried off when she brings her home. In the fall we had a baby, and the beach walks have allowed Maggie to get more exercise than we could give her at the moment and also allows her to have some one on one attention which she is lacking at home right now. Felix
Sweet Pea and Me has been a lifeline for me and my dog Felix. I originally sought dog walking services because of increasing work demands. Without help, I would not have been able to meet my commitments. On referral of a co-worker I reached out to Sara and was immediately impressed by her professional response and screening process before agreeing to take us a client.
After our meeting I felt very confident that Felix would be in good hands. And this was proven true the first occasion I happened to be home when Sara came by to pick him up. He was so happy to see her and go on his excursion that I knew he trusted and liked her.
Sara is a great communicator and this was demonstrated in her email feedback on Felix's first several walks. She shows her care and attention to the dogs in her care by working with their own special challenges and helping to train them while on walks.
While the quality work being done by Sweet Pea is already well worth the investment, they go above and beyond by posting photos on Facebook of the day's walks and each week Felix gets a special treat of homemade cookies delivered at the house.
I recommend Sweet Pea highly and am grateful to have found them. It gives me peace of mind to know that Felix is well cares for and having fun while Im caught up in work.

Teddy
I found out about Sweet Pea through Teambuy this year. I have an 18 months old Shi-Poo, Teddy. We used Sweet Pea services for weekly beach walks. I asked Sara if she could work on Teddy's recalls, and surprisingly, after a few walks with Sara, Teddy's recall improved dramatically! I can't thank Sara enough! Not only that, if I had any concerns or questions about Teddy (he is my first dog, so I have a lot of questions!) she would always answer my questions promptly by email or text! Each walk, Sara sent me a photo of Teddy playing on the beach, and I really enjoyed seeing those photos while I was at work. I'm planning to be out of town a lot next year. I was worried before becasuse I couldn't find a dog sitter that I can trust 100%. Now I have nothing to worry about because I know that I can rely on Sara with Teddy. I'm so glad I found Sara. I would TOTALLY recommend Sara to any dog owners! She's the best-est!

We found out about Sweet Pea and Me though Ethical Deal and used their services for our beloved labrador retriever, Lucky. We were absolutely delighted with Sweet Pea and Me, and so was Lucky!
Dog-walker extraordinaire Sara Bartlett is one of the most dedicated, professional business owners we've ever met. She picked up Lucky during our long work days, took her to the beach for a swim, and returned her tired, happy and smelling like mangoes (she cleans the dogs after their swims with special grooming spray). Since Lucky is an older dog, Sara was very sensitive to her needs, and made sure that she rested when she got tired.
Lucky seemed to really like Sara, and we felt comfortable leaving her in Sara's capable hands since she has a pet first aid certificate and is bonded and insured.
For us humans, Sweet Pea and Me is a pleasure to deal with. All of our phone calls, emails, appointment requests and text messages were answered promptly. Sara sent us frequent texts and photos during her walks, notifying us of when Lucky was picked up, when she was returned, and how she was doing. Not only that, but every day after her walk, Sara left a cute little paper bag filled with a different flavour of truly home-made, organic dog cookies which Lucky thought were delicious.
I would recommend Sweet Pea and Me without hesitation to anyone who has a special dog in their lives!

Stella
We rescued Stella 9 months ago through and organization called Cross Our Paws. She was a stray from California, picked up off the street, alone and scared and was sent to a high-kill shelter. She loves other dogs but scared stupid of strangers.
Stella is on her 7th walk with Sara and her Sweet Pea and Me and it has really helped her come out of her neurotic little shell. I knew Sara had won over Stella's when we were out for a walk at Spanish Banks. Stella suddenly booked it down the beach as fast as she could 200+ meters and started jumping up excitedly on a blond lady, wagging her tail like a nut. I was yelling for her to come back but she had sniffed out Sara and the Sweet Peas, out for a bomb and she wanted to join in.
Your dogs need socialization, adventure and exercise. Do it.

I did a fair amount of research online and got a couple of recommendations from a dog trainer and a dog walker before I decided on Sweet Pea and Me. I couldn't believe how quickly they responded to my call and booked a meet and greet with my dog Ernie and myself. I was equally impressed with the training credentials and the fact they were bonded, insured and possessed pet first aid.
Ernie is a rescue dog and definitely has "rescue syndrome." He is quite attached and is a bit unsure of new people and situations especially when leaving the house without me. Sara and the entire team- Jordana, Jarrod, and Anastasia are doing a fantastic job with this special boy! Ernie usually bonds more easily to females, but he took to Jarrod very quickly which really says something.
I'm very comfortable and confident leaving my dog in their expert care and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for exceptional care and service. Ernie always comes home and flops down for a big long nap- a tired dog is a happy dog!

These girls are awesome. Nelson (an high energy dog) gets picked up by the same girl once or twice a week, depending on our schedule. They have a handy online booking and payment system where you can see how many dogs are in the group, what is available etc.
They do North Shore walks, where he gets picked up at 8AM and gets dropped of again around 1PM - which is perfect cause this means napping all afternoon. It's 32$, but its worth the outdoor fun they get!
I send Nelson on Beach Excursions as well, they are one hour off leash beach fun walks at Spanish Banks. Nelson loves the beach and chasing other dogs in the sand so at only 23$, its amazing.
So far Nelson seems to really enjoy it and waggle his but off as soon as Jordana comes to pick him up. We always get him back clean (a miracle!) and they'll even let me know if he ate a bunch of dirt (which is the story of Nelson life, the little dirteater!). I'd totally recommend this company!

I am pleased to be writing this letter as a testament of the wonderful experience we have had with the staff and services provided by Sweet Pea & Me Dog Adventures and Care in North Vancouver.
Since the summer 2013, we have been using Sweet Pea & Me for our “Kayla”, a 4 -year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. From the moment we met Sara and Hallie we knew we had found a perfect match for Kayla. They presented themselves so professionally and in such a caring, friendly, and non-threatening manner both to Kayla as well as to our children!. For Kayla it was an instant connection that she still enjoys to this day. Kayla is a very timid dog so we explained our concerns to Hallie and Sara about her walking along side other (at times much larger) dogs. They responded with such care that we knew we had found the right walkers for her.
We are regular users of Sweet Pea & Me and could not be happier with what they offer and their commitment to the care, attention, and enjoyment of our dog. It is so great to know that we can leave for work and school in the morning knowing that Kayla will be picked up on time and shown an amazing blend of fresh air, love, fun, exercise and attention.
Another thing we greatly appreciate about their service is the sweet notes we find left in the house upon them dropping Kayla back home after her walk. It is always such a cheerful way to come home and find out where Kayla walked and how she enjoyed the company of other dogs on that particular day.
I cannot say enough about how wonderful these ladies are and how well they care for our Kayla. Hallie and Sara are so sweet that I cannot think of a better company name than Sweet Pea & Me. I recommend their services wholeheartedly to anyone who loves their 4-legged baby as much as we do!

I purchased a ethical deal back in September of last year and was so happy with Sweet Pea and Me that I have continued to use their services ever since! Sara is great with the dogs; she has a great deal of knowledge about canine behaviours and health, and I know that my pooch loves seeing her! I’ve been so impressed that I’ve recommended Sweet Pea and Me to several friends, and they’ve all been very happy as well.

We did a considerable amount of research online for dog walking companies in Vancouver, before deciding to try Sweet Pea and Me. Sara had great reviews, affordable prices, and the adventure hikes, which was exactly what we were looking for! This was the first time we would be sending our dog with someone new, and we were a wee bit anxious given that our dog, Maggie, is a rescue has had separation and anxiety issues in the past. We were very quickly reassured, however, after just a couple of walks. Maggie is always very excited when Sara comes and is always tuckered out and happy when she comes back (we joke that she's dissapointed when we walk through the door since we're not Sara). The thing that we appreciate the most about Sweet Pea and Me is Sara's excellent customer service, which she consistently exemplifies in many ways: she spent time making a tailored package for our needs and budget, giving us different quotes; she promptly returns our emails; she brings home made treats for the dogs and washes them down after walks; and she often posts photos to facebook so we can see our dog having fun (our favourite part). We couldn't be more pleased with our decision to go with Sweet Pea and Me, and we would definitely recommend Sara to others!

We have been using Sara's dog walking and sitting services for several months, and have been extremely pleased. Her love of dogs is plainly evident, and just as important, our dog loves Sara, too! He gets very excited every time Sara shows up on our doorstep to take him out on a doggy adventure. He returns to us with his tail wagging and as happy as a dog can be! He also loves the treats that Sara prepares for him.
Sara has gone the extra mile for us, even taking our dog into her own home for a few days while we were away on vacation. I must also mention that Sara's prices are very affordable. Sweet Pea and Me delivers incredible value for the money. I highly recommend Sara!
